Senior Environmental Consultant:
Halff Associates is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to manage and develop Regulatory Compliance services for private and public sector clients. Candidates should have working knowledge of NPDES/TPDES permitting, storm water quality design, storm water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and spill control and countermeasure plans (SPCC Plans). Candidates should also have working knowledge of Air Permitting requirements that include New Source Review Permits, Title V Permits, Air Quality Compliance Assistance, and Emissions Inventory Reporting. Oil and gas industry experience will be considered a plus.
The successful candidate must be Registered Professional Engineer with excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, writing, project and client management, and communication skills. This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, a minimum of 7 to 10 years relevant experience, knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements. Electrical Engineer in Training:
We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Engineer in Training with a minimum of two years experience in the design of lighting and electrical power for buildings, site lighting, roadway lighting or special systems such as fire alarm, public address and emergency power. This candidate will work under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer, but is expected to be self motivated with a strong sense of urgency to deliver accurate work on schedule.
The ideal candidate will have experience with design for commercial, industrial, manufacturing, schools, criminal justice, hotels, nursing homes, or municipal facilities. Experience with lighting of roadways, trails, and recreational facilities, site investigation or studies is a plus. This candidate will perform basic design calculations for voltage drop, available short circuit, and arch flash and must have at least an intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation. Experience with Revit is a plus.
