Marble Falls Development Code

This project created new land development regulations to implement the City’s adopted comprehensive plan.

A Comprehensive Evaluation and Proposed Approach (CEPA) memorandum was drafted to examine the relationship of the existing regulations to the policy directions of the comprehensive plan, as well as the practices and preferences of the community and its leadership. The memorandum helped narrow the gap between the City’s policies and practices and implementation thereof as part of the City’s ongoing growth.

Regulation drafting included a comprehensive update to the City’s zoning regulations, establishment authority and procedural responsibilities for a newly constituted board of zoning adjustment, plus a non-substantive integration of the City’s land-use regulations into a new unified development code.
