Public Works/Transportation Team Leader Melanie Cleavelin Honored With Dr. Albert H. Halff Stetson Award

President/CEO Mark Edwards presented Public Works/Transportation Team Leader Melanie Cleavelin with the Dr. Albert H. Halff Stetson Award, honoring Melanie for putting people first, investing in others and making a large impact in our communities.

Melanie is also the steering committee chair for Halff Community Initiative, the firm’s nonprofit organization designed to give back to the communities where our employees live and work.

“The organizations that we support through HCI are better because of the effort and work that Melanie puts into those,” Mark said. “She pours herself into it.”

Halff created the Stetson Award to honor employees who reflect the “people before profit” spirit of firm founder Dr. Halff, while also paying tribute to the legendary Stetson hat he often wore. Melanie is the inaugural recipient of this award.
