Halff, Kristina Leal Earn Recognition in Rio Grande Valley
McALLEN, Texas — Halff received a pair of recognitions from the Rio Grande Valley chapters of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). TSPE and ASCE joined forces to create the inaugural Discover Engineers Week in the region.
Kristina Leal and the firm were recognized with awards at the celebration gala. Leal, a Water Resources team leader, was honored as the engineer of the year. Halff was tabbed the engineering company of the year with Leal, Jose Delgaldo, Ben Luna and RD Cuellar from the McAllen office accepting the award.

The chapters hosted activities all week to celebrate the engineering profession and raise money for local scholarships and programs that promote engineering in the area. As a sponsor, Halff participated in each of the events.
