Client:

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)

Halff was contracted by TxDOT for this land surveying project in Dallas, Texas, in order to provide right of way mapping revisions for the widening of the LBJ Interstate Highway (IH) 635. The project corridor stretched from just East of US 75 to Miller Road and from Miller Road to just West of the KCS Railroad.

Changes identified by the State were incorporated and the property descriptions for eight parcels in total were made. Additionally, Halff was contracted to provide a TSPS Category 1A, Condition II Improvement Survey. Conventional land surveying methods were used for the majority of the work, with terrestrial lidar data collection provided for infrastructure and rail/roadway interchanges.
