Inside Halff: A Look at March 2024

March was a busy month with Halff’s annual Leadership Forum, HCI volunteering events, a Top Workplaces award and more. Read below for a recap of March!

Halff’s Annual 2024 Leadership Forum

More than 275 leaders gathered for Halff’s annual 2024 Leadership Forum in North Texas. Together, they learned new skills, built relationships and left with new ideas to support their teams while investing in our people-first culture!

HCI Updates

Some Bentonville volunteers helped with Fayetteville Parks and Recreation by pulling invasive plants along the Ramble, a new trail connecting to the Greenway.

Three Halff McAllen volunteers presented HCI’s donation to Angels of Love, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence.

As part of Keep Austin Beautiful, Austin volunteers spent their Saturday collecting trash and clearing out brush at Waller Creek.

Amanda Yarbrough and her son, Dawson, presented HCI’s donation to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas, which will be used to provide 100 educational kits to surrounding schools to help educate those with Down syndrome.

Teaming Together

Members from Halff’s Austin Transportation teams visited Top Notch together for a night of axe throwing and friendly competition.

The Land Development team from Tampa channeled their inner artist at Painting with a Twist, where they learned to paint the landscape of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Fort Worth employees went head-to-head in a marshmallow tower competition, in honor of World Engineering Day Marie Wagner and Sydney Conner’s created the tallest tower at 29 inches, winning first place!

The San Antonio and Tavares offices celebrated Pi Day with pizza for lunch – delicious!

Halff was named one of the nation’s top workplaces for the third consecutive year in March 2023! The 2024 Top Workplaces USA celebrates organizations that have built great cultures, based upon firsthand feedback from employee experience surveys. Halff is pleased to continue investing in our people, while improving lives and communities around us!

Halff Bag Travels

Hannah Wilson (left) journeyed across the world to India, visiting the coastal city of Visakhapatnam (Vizag). She brought her Halff bag along as she attended a housewarming ceremony, hiked to a waterfall and enjoyed a sunrise on the beach.

Debbie Hope took a trip to the nation’s capital, Washington D.C! With her Halff bag in hand, she visited the White House, Lincoln Memorial and many other spots.
