HCI Volunteers Create and Pack Sweet Cases for Children

Halff Community Initiative volunteers across the firm recently packed “sweet cases” to benefit Together We Rise, a nonprofit organization committed to bettering the lives of children in foster care.

Many of the 400,000 children in the foster care system each year only have trash bags to carry their belongings from home to home. Halff volunteers from the Fort Worth, Frisco, Houston, McAllen, Richardson, Tampa and Tyler offices decorated and packed 185 duffel bags to help make the inevitable transitions for children a little more bearable.
