Introducing Johnnie Chin: Halff’s Solar Initiatives Technical Leader
Renewable energy stands at the forefront of a sustainable environment and common future. With its growing popularity since the 1980s, innovations have skyrocketed to find cleaner and sustainable resources.
As trends for energy sources like solar, wind and hydropower continue to rise, the renewable sector grows substantially.
Halff is committed to investing in renewable energy projects’ planning, engineering and permitting, specifically engaging the solar photovoltaic industry.
To jump start the initiative, Halff is excited to introduce our new solar initiatives technical leader, Johnnie Chin.
Johnnie joins Halff with 38 years of power generation experience, including more than 17 years of solar EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) practice in utility scale and C&I (commercial and industrial) projects. He has a vision for Halff to grow its presence in the renewable energy sector.
“Halff has a longstanding history in the engineering and consulting practice, and with a solid customer base already,” Johnnie said. “With renewable energy being a new service for our clientele, Halff can provide additional value to customers to reduce their carbon footprint, meet their environmental goals and save on energy costs.”
We’re excited to have Johnnie on board to bridge the renewable energy gap and support clients’ needs with the benefits of solar energy, along with energy storage — not just for their bottom lines, but for a healthier and sustainable environment.
