Real Ale Brewing Company

Real Ale Brewing Company draws several thousand visitors per week to Blanco, Texas. These large crowds led to a need for an expanded industrial production facility.

This Halff design project sought to design and construct a new production facility to decommission an existing set of brew kettles without interruption, and add additional office spaces that allowed for better access to operations. It also needed to accommodate larger visitor crowds along with outdoor concert facilities, a new tap room for product rollouts and a merchandising shop, all while devising a way to conduct visitor tours without disruption to operations.

These improvements were geared toward solving real building and functionality problems. The project also simultaneously created an architectural face for the brand, thus reinforcing Real Ale as a uniquely Texas Hill Country offering.
