Halff Named Best Place to Work in Arkansas

Halff’s Arkansas teams proudly accepted Best Place to Work in Arkansas recognition by Arkansas Business in partnership with Workforce Research Group for the second year in a row. To be considered for this honor, companies must have a facility In Arkansas with at least 15 employees. From there, employers are asked to complete an in-depth questionnaire about their company, while employees are invited to take a survey that asks for their honest feedback about their workplace. With five locations in the Natural State, one just having opened earlier this summer, Halff is honored to champion a people-first culture and foster a positive workplace throughout all its offices.

Career Fair Season Kicked-Off!

As Halff continues to grow, it aims to create new opportunities and attract future talent. September was a month focused on recruiting efforts as Halff participated in more than 15 career fairs throughout Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

HCI Updates

HCI Giving Week took place Sept. 23-27 this year.

HCI’s annual Giving Week is held to increase support and shine a spotlight on the causes that matter most to our employees. Halff’s offices organize a week filled with volunteer opportunities and fundraising activities. This week offers the chance for employees to make a difference in a number of ways.

Halff leaders took a break from the annual Strategy Forum to make more than 1,300 sandwiches for the Local Good Pantry!

Fort Worth Volunteers delivered HCI’s $1,000 donation to the YMCA Camp Center, which provides children a gateway to lifelong memories, personal growth and valuable skills.

Teaming Together

Water Resources teams from Houston went to Activate, a gaming facility where you jump, climb, problem-solve and laugh as you move between challenges.

Jacksonville and Tampa employees attended the APA Florida Planning Conference, where Halff was a sponsor. Sean Lahav (left) had the opportunity to speak on a panel about the evolution of county resilience initiatives across the Tampa Bay region.

Richardson Survey and Environmental teams hit the lanes, facing off in a friendly bowling competition.

Florida’s Marketing team traded their strategy hats for chef hats during their sushi making class at Sur la Table!

The TxDOT Transportation Planning Conference brought members of Halff’s Tranportation teams from all over Texas together to represent the Transportation practice and services offered.

Halff Bag Travels

Roza Fereidoonfar (left) took her Halff bag on a trip to Canada over Labor Day weekend. There she enjoyed the scenic views Niagara Falls and the Toronto skyline had to offer.

Tiffany Lowe and her Halff Bag checked three more high points off her list: Mount Rogers in Virginia, Hoye-Crest Mountain in Maryland and Spruce Knobb in West Virginia (right).
