Director of MEP Gabriel Benavides Honored with Mark Edwards Halff Home Run Award

President and CEO Jessica Baker Daily presented the Mark Edwards Halff Home Run Award to Director of MEP Gabriel Benavides in Halff’s McAllen office, recognizing his exceptional leadership, ownership and excellence.

The Mark Edwards Halff Home Run Award was established in 2020 by former Halff president and CEO Mark Edwards. It celebrates employees who embody the spirit of Halff by leading with integrity, lifting up those around them and demonstrating what it means to serve with purpose and excellence.

Gabriel is the definition of these values. Known for his steady leadership and collaborative approach, he has strengthened the McAllen MEP practice by developing procedures that distribute responsibilities and help the team accomplish more while focusing on top priorities. Colleagues praise Gabriel as an effective negotiator and a dependable leader who steps in when projects demand extra attention.

“Gabriel embodies our Halff S.E.R.V.E.S. culture in everything he does,” Jessica said. “He leads with integrity, lifts up those around him and consistently demonstrates what it means to serve with excellence. He has truly knocked it out of the park.”
