Halff Returns to Campuses for Spring Career Fair Season

Career fair season is upon us and Halff is once again heading to campuses to connect with students and new graduates who are beginning to explore their professional paths. For many years, these conversations have been a key way for Halff to empower future professionals by sharing real-world insight, mentorship and opportunities that extend well beyond graduation.

From January through March, Halff teams will attend career fairs across the region to meet future talent, answer questions and highlight early-career opportunities across disciplines. These events allow students to learn more about the work we do, the people behind our projects and how their interests can translate into meaningful impact. Graduate Civil Engineer: Public Works

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Support the planning and design of municipal infrastructure projects by assisting with the development of construction plans for roadways, storm drainage systems, water and wastewater pipelines, parks and civil site improvements. This role offers early-career engineers the opportunity to grow under the mentorship of Professional Engineers (PEs) while building technical, analytical and communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Intern: Public Works

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Assist with public works and transportation projects by supporting design tasks, drafting, calculations and permitting under the supervision of Professional Engineers (PEs). This internship provides hands-on exposure to municipal infrastructure projects while developing foundational engineering and teamwork skills.

Halff Community Initiative (HCI)

Halff’s Richardson office delivered a $2,000 HCI donation to Hope Cottage to help further its mission of empowering strong and loving families. The contribution will be used to purchase diapers and wipes for mothers in need through Hope Cottage’s family services.

A $1,000 donation from Halff’s Lubbock office helped the South Plains Food Bank stock its pantry. The contribution will provide approximately 3,000 meals for families in need.

Halff’s Midland office supported Casa de Amigos by presenting a $1,000 HCI donation and spending time with local seniors during the visit. Casa de Amigos is a multicultural neighborhood center that provides education, social services, health and wellness programs and senior services.

Halff’s Culture

The Woodlands office added a little greenery to the workplace by hosting a plant-themed lunch, complete with pizza. Team members received plants for their desks and will put their green thumb skills to the test as they care for them in the weeks ahead!

Halff Bag Travels

Drew Chavchalov (left) brought his Halff bag overseas to New Zealand, visiting the Hobbiton movie set from The Lord of the Rings and making a stop in Hong Kong during his travels.

Tiffany Lowe and her Halff bag hit the road during the holidays, checking off four state high points including Mount Davis, Point Reno, Ebright Azimuth and the Dare County High Point.
