Halff Riverside Park Design and Engineering Receives Award of Excellence
Halff’s Riverside Park and Engineering project received the Award of Excellence from the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission. The award recognizes projects that enhance quality of life, support economic development and protect natural and historic resources across the county.
The Temple Terrace project includes the full design, permitting, bidding and construction management of nine acres of riverfront property to create a vibrant public space that encourages recreation, environmental appreciation and community connection. Planned improvements include boardwalks and fishing piers for waterfront access, pedestrian paths and bridges to improve connectivity, picnic facilities and other features that will serve residents and visitors for years to come.

Graduate Civil Engineer: Public Works
Location: Brownsville, TX
Assist with the design and production of construction plans for local infrastructure projects, including roadways, storm drainage systems, water and wastewater pipelines, parks and civil site improvements. This role offers early-career engineers the opportunity to grow under the mentorship of Professional Engineers while developing skills in design software, cost estimating, reporting and collaborative problem-solving.
Intern: Water/Wastewater
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Support water, wastewater and stormwater projects through design, modeling and technical analysis under the supervision of Professional Engineers. This internship offers hands-on experience in drainage and stormwater design, utility planning, hydrology and hydraulic modeling, and the preparation of plans, permits and cost estimates for water resources projects.

Halff Community Initiative (HCI)
Frisco delivered a $2,000 HCI donation to Bed Start, an organization that provides essential furnishings to individuals and families in poverty, crisis or need. Team members also helped deliver beds and other household items to support local families.
McAllen volunteers delivered their annual no-sew blankets to the veterans’ nursing home, a tradition they work on from summer through November. Each blanket is handmade by team members and personally delivered as a gesture of gratitude and support for local veterans.
Halff’s Culture
Survey Team from Fort Worth enjoyed a night of team-building fun at Topgolf, spending time together outside the field and strengthening connections over friendly competition.
Halff Bag Travels
Courtney Bosquez (left) brought her Halff bag on a road trip across five national parks, visiting Mammoth Cave, New River Gorge, Shenandoah, Acadia and Cuyahoga Valley. With this trip, she has now checked off 32 national parks.
Amanda Jonas took her Halff bag to Las Vegas for the 6th Annual Women Surveyors Summit, snapping a photo at the Hoover Dam during a networking tour.
