Halff Named Business of the Year by Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce

Halff was named Business of the Year by the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) at its Annual Members Awards Banquet. The award recognizes companies for exceptional economic growth, community involvement and industry innovation.

With more than 30 years of service in the Rio Grande Valley, Halff has played a vital role in Mission’s development and long-term success. The firm helped secure the Presidential Permit for the Anzalduas International Bridge and contributed to its completion in 2009, a milestone that strengthened cross-border connectivity and transformed Mission’s economy. Through lasting partnerships and impactful projects, Halff continues to support the city’s growth as a hub for business and community advancement.

Graduate Civil Engineer: Public Works

Assist with the design and production of roadway, drainage, pipeline and municipal infrastructure projects while developing technical expertise under the mentorship of experienced Professional Engineers. This role offers early-career engineers the opportunity to grow in a collaborative environment and contribute to impactful community improvements.

Intern: Transportation

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Support roadway and highway design projects through drafting, calculations and permitting under the guidance of Professional Engineers. This internship offers hands-on experience in transportation design and collaboration on impactful infrastructure solutions.

Halff Community Initiative (HCI)

Richardson volunteers presented a $1,000 donation to Community Partners of Dallas to help provide school supplies for children in need.

Austin volunteers delivered craft supplies and sensory items to The Georgetown Project’s NEST Empowerment Center, supporting programs that help at-risk and homeless high school students.

Halff’s Culture

Team members from Orlando enjoyed a sunset kayaking trip in Palatka, taking in the peaceful views along the water as the sun went down.

Employees from the Richardson, Dallas and Frisco offices came together for the 29th Annual Chili Cook-off at the new Richardson office courtyard. Teams showcased their best recipes during the two-day event, filling the courtyard with friendly competition, great food and plenty of fun as judges selected this year’s top chili champions.

Halff employees celebrated Halloween with festive costume contests across offices, showing off their creativity with fun, spooky and clever costumes. The friendly competition brought plenty of laughter, team spirit and seasonal cheer to the workplace.

Halff Bag Travels

Erin Atkinson (left) brought his Halff bag to Italy, exploring the charming town of Pienza in the heart of Tuscany.

Melanie Ferris took her Halff bag to the East Coast, where she enjoyed the vibrant fall colors across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine, and stopped by the historic Boston Public Library.
