1. Halff's New Look

Halff’s historical brand refresh, unveiled in February 2023, kicked off the year with an enhanced look. A project more than a year in the making, the new blue color palette represents trust and dependability, matching Halff’s people-first mentality.

2. New Website

A new-and-improved website was also launched in February along with the new branding. Did you know that there are images and quotes on the website of more than 200 Halff employees and their loved ones?

We look forward to continuing to bring fresh news and insights to halff.com in 2024!

 

3. 1,843 completed projects in 2023 (Halff)

Halff completed 1,843 projects in 2023! A testament to the hard work and creative collaboration of our people, Halff has improved lives in dozens of communities.

4. Award-Winning Firm

Being an award-winning firm is the direct result of having the best people in the industry. We’re proud to have received 37 awards in 2023, 18 of those being firm awards.

5. Expanding Our Horizons

Halff continues to expand our horizons, making a home in five new locations across the southeast region. Offices opened in 2023 include:

6. Celebrating New Licenses

Our people worked hard to obtain 67 new licenses this year, including:

    • 55 Professional Engineers
    • 6 Professional Landscape Architects
    • 2 Registered Professional Land Surveyors
    • 2 Professional Surveyor & Mappers
    • 1 Professional Land Surveyor
    • 1 Registered Land Surveyor

7. Award-Winning Projects

We’re celebrating a year of innovation and excellence. We’re proud to report that our projects have earned 19 project awards in 2023. Some of those projects include:

8. 7 Home Run Awards

People at Halff were awarded seven Home Run Awards in 2023. Winners include: Survey Team Leader Juan Gonzalez, Benefits Analyst Cristi Evans, Survey Party Chief Adolfo Vargas, Project Manager Victor Bivens, Project Manager Emily Acosta, Senior Construction Inspector Jeremy Woods and President/CEO Mark Edwards.

The Halff Home Run Award is presented to employees who embody the spirit of Halff through leadership, ownership, excellence and the growth of others.

 

9. Broadband

Broadband became an official service at Halff over the summer. A timely addition, Halff already has a strong presence in fiber systems planning and design, asset management and funding resources—all contributing to broadband.

10. #HalffInterns

Halff has welcomed 80 interns to the firm this year to learn and work with our professional staff. Our 2023 interns have worked in 23 of our offices and represent more than 30 universities.

11. Culture Camps

Culture Camps were launched during the summer of 2023 as fun, interactive two-hour trainings—a unique way for employees to be learn more deeply about Halff’s culture. Led by 30 Halff leaders (“camp counselors”), the goal for Culture Camps was to inspire our “people-first” values into the hearts and minds of everyone, because each person is responsible for maintaining our culture.

12. Halff Gives Back

Our people take pride in serving the communities where we live and work. In 2023, Halff Community Initiative contributed more than $135,000 in donations and our employees generously served more than 2,400 volunteer hours to support more than 110 charities.
